How to optimize GTX 1080 FTW?

Hi everyone,

Just got a new GTX 1080 FTW2 and got it up and running in my rig. Benchmarked its mining capabilities with nicehash and was not super impressed with results. I know it has a problem with mining Ethereum because it uses GDDR5X memory. However, it would be greatly appreciated if you guys could give me tips to optimize it and get it running at its full potential.

 With full power and temperature limits, bump up the core to +115 and memory +405 from stock ftw clocks. That gave me over 53MH/s in nicehash. Long term, I wouldn't recommend mining because you're getting less and less every day. Especially with 120% power limits, youre not going to profit much

Thanks for your input. Mining is a hobby, and now that I have the card, might as well try and make the best of it.
