Where are am4 x300 and a300 motherboards?

And what's the point of x300 if it's for itx motherboards which can't support multi GPU systems?

because it is a VERY small chipset which supports overclocking.

Not sure. But it seems that B350 and X370 ITX motherboards have basically replaced (?) them and motherboard manufacturers can't be bothered (or find it more expensive) to deal with another chipset.

A lot of guessing in my response here:

X300 doesn't support Crossfire/SLI.  X370 does. Although the X300 chipset still has support for more than one PCIE 3.0 lane.

Don't think A300 or X300 boards are out yet.  Maybe when Ryzen 3 starts full production?

Figure they might pick a board form factor bigger than regular ITX for some boards with that chipset.  Maybe microATX instead of ITX? Just guessing.

Then why not use b350 (b300) instead?

Also keep in mind the b350 boards support crossfire (no SLI though)

Because as stated by @DeezNoNos, its a very small chipset while being smaller than the b350 chipset (I suspect else there's no point) which would allow mobo manufacturers to maybe add a couple of extra sata ports or beefier VRMs or maybe an extra m.2 slot as on a mITX mobo, every millimetre counts :D

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...
