Cant remove intel cooler

Hello a couple of days ago i tried to remove my intel stock cooler. I tried to twist the pins with the screwdriver in the direction of the arrow. That worked for the first 3 but the fourth one just wouldnt turn. I'm too scared to apply more force cause i dont wanna break the mobo. Is there any alternative way to remove it with the one pin not twisted.

Thank you

Drill it out or find a reverse-out bit

I advise against this.

You got nothing to advise, so what happens with a stripped out fastener then?

The best you could hope for is the reverse-out bit biting and working.

Of course the last resort is drilling it out.

give the turn a bit more force, it'll pop loose.

otherwise, if you dont want/need the stock cooler anymore, break off the bit that sticks trough the board.

anything but taking power tools to a piece of plastic in the middle of sensitive electronics.

anything

then what?

LMFAO @ u guys

if the head protrudes, then pinching it and spinning it may work too. You need room around the head to do that tho

Maybe a simple small drill through fastener, like smaller then the shaft, then reverse-out bit. Just to get it to bite.

What else can be done really?

No alternatives coming.

Ripping the bolts side to side to break it, uncool. But whatever.
