Help with PSU

I have 2 computers right now, 1 server and one gaming rig.

Server

Supermicro x8dtl-if

2x xeon e5520

6x 4gb ecc ram

3x 2tb wd re4

1x 240gb Samsung 850 evo

Evga 500w psu (no 80 plus, really cheap)

(I scavenged the parts for it after I already had my gaming rig, built it over the course of a month)

Gaming rig

Gigabyte z170x gaming 5

Intel i5 6600k

Evga 980ti ftw

4x4gb trident Z

2x 2tb hdd

2x 256 gb ssd

I had a evga 1050 gs in it, I bought a evga 750 g2 to replace it, then realized it might still be in warranty and it was, they ended up sending me back a evga 1000 g3 back.

Which power supply should I use in the server and which one should I use in the gaming rig? (Evga 750 g2 or evga 1000 g3)

Server is almost always on, gaming rig is on sleep mode most of the time than like maybe 3-6 hours of gaming a day.
