Worth upgrading my old Logitech Z3 2.1 speakers?

JorenBus

I currently have the Logitech Z3 2.1 speaker set, which I've been using for the past 8 years or so.

I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading to a new speaker set, preferably under €100.

If so, should I go for a 2 or 2.1 set? I really like having good bass in my music.

imo, unless you feel your speakers are inadequate, no need to upgrade.

2.0 is good for space saving, but you'll need to spend some good money to get good sound and bass.  2.1s are cheaper if you like good bass, but in the end, it still wont sound great.  Imo, not a lot of good sounding 2.1 speakers these days for PC setups.  Razer's soundbar with subwoofer was surprisingly good, i'd check it out if you can find one locally.  Its like $250 CAD, so, i'm not sure how much it is for u.

I found this 2.1 set: http://www.trust.com/nl/product/20244-vigor-2-1-subwoofer-speaker-set-brown

Does that look good enough?
