Could I run a EVGA & GIGABYTE card in the same pc?

Hello everyone.

I'm very much a newbie when it comes to this stuff.

I was wondering if you could help me identify wether I could run 2 different graphics cards in the same rig.

The graphics cards are the:
-GIGABYTE AORUS GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme 11Gb

-EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FOUNDERS EDITION GAMING, 11GB GDDR5X, LED, DX12 OSD Support (PXOC) Graphic Cards 11G-P4-6390-KR

I was also wondering, is it worth it? Or is there something different I should do to maximise FPS/Performace/etc.

Rig will be used for mainly gaming, but I may do some video editing/rendering ocassionally.

Thanks very much for any help.

Would work fine, dont see why your would need to SLI two 1080 ti though (Unless you plan to get a 144hz 4K monitor when that comes).

Hey, thanks for the reply. I see your point, what would you recommend for pure FPS/Performace?

Thanks!

What resolution are you running at? A single 1080ti should easily be be enough for 4K ultra/max (Though a 1070/1080 can still do high-ultra in many games) 60 or 144hz 1440p, a 1070/1080 for 60hz 1440p.
