Welcome to the Old Star Wars discussion thread! Any older Star Wars games are welcome here! Feel free to discuss them, share gameplay (so long as your vids aren't monetized and are for informational purposes, not advertising for you channel), any great mods you've found, etc. Newer games like TOR and EA's Battlefront and Battlefront II are okay as well, since they continue the legacy of the classics. For reference, old games are ones from the late 90's to the early 2000s. Let's revive the classics!

You have to use GameRanger and set it to LAN. Then GameRanger catches the LAN signal and puts it on its servers, or something like that. It's still an awesome game, especially if you use mods.

The PC version is awesome, supports mods, and it's only $10 (you can find it for $2.50 on sale).

Yup. I feel your pain, since my car recently had problems (brakes, fixed those, they started smoking, fixed them again, then my radiator broke, and fingers crossed something else doesn't go wrong), so I'm not in a good financial position right now either. Thankfully I got the new parts for my PC before that happened.

Noice! It's the same thing I'm doing, with my 980 Ti and hopefully a good Ryzen setup. Though make sure you go to a Subway with a good manager. My sister in law used to work at one, and her manager and coworkers were terrible.

Yup. Though I've used HarrisonFog's mods and the Evolved mod, and they look really nice. For it's age, Battlefront II can pump out some amazing graphics.

You have to use GameRanger and set it to LAN. Then GameRanger catches the LAN signal and puts it on its servers, or something like that. It's still an awesome game, especially if you use mods.

For Star Wars galactic battlegrounds saga I've heard people use Tunngle; a free "Internet LAN" where it tricks the game into thinking the tunngle server is a LAN server so you can play on the internet.

Edit:

i played the campaign this year on PC but the colors were all... super yellow red or black on Pc and idk why. I just switched to Linux so I'd have to find a workaround to play it. Or use the 32 bit windows 7 pc.

GameRanger basically does that, it acts like a LAN server.

And strabge that the colours are like that. They're fine for me, especially since I run various graphics mods.

Hmmmm. Even plain on my Win 10 64bit PC is fine. Could your monitor have done something weird? And which maps did you play?
