1050 Ti is it worth?

So this summer I wanted to build a PC and just as I purchased first of my parts and then the mining began rx 580 went up in prices as well as 1060's. Now I am waiting to pick up a GPU and I started thinking about the gtx 1050 ti and is it worth of buying, because I am kinda on the edge waiting 3 more months for prices to go down. How does gtx 1050 ti perform vs a gtx 1060 3gb and is it worth getting?

This is my build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mtPvtJ.

the 1060 is about 50% better(give or take a few)

If gpu prices weren't inflated like they are it wouldn't be worth buying, a 470/570 would be a much better buy at not too much more $.

If you wait don't get a 1060 3gb, get a 580 4gb. More Vram, faster and will take advantage of with the FreeSync monitor you have in your build. All for about the same price (or used to be, who knows what prices will be when this mining craze is over).

The 1050ti is a good card, but it won't last very long if you want to play above medium settings at 1080p. A 580/1060 would be much better if they were available

Im thinking about buying the gtx 1050 ti and then in few years sell it and get a rx 580 8 gb or GPU within the same price...

Personally, I'd recommend waiting on building a PC. Prices on video cards are inflated because of mining, and RAM prices are high as well.

But to answer your question, on Passmark's GPU benchmark database , the 1050ti($140) got a score of 5765 and the 1060 3gb($220) a score of 8592. The 1050's score-to cost comes out to 41.2 and the 1060 a 39.1 - meaning that the 1050ti is a marginally better deal at the current time.

I should say that if I were to buy a 1060 i would go with a 6 gb version same as the 580 8 gb

1060 6gb prices are insanely inflated - I got mine for $210, and now the lowest you can find one for is $270.

You might be better off looking for a used GPU.
