I have a question for buying a new PC

What would be better? An i5-6400 with 8Gb of RAM and a GTX 1050 Ti 4Gb or an i3-6098p, 8Gb of RAM and a GTX 1060 6Gb

i5 7400 with 8gigs and a 1050..the i3 might bottleneck your 1060

i3's as a rule are really bad, low performance and they don't age well. I would go for the i5, and wait a little longer so that I could afford the 1060.

 Save up and build your own. Are those PCs Pre-built?

i3 is good for email and internet and games

it may vary a little bit from game to game depending on CPU usage in said game, but largely speaking if you're wanting the highest framerates possible with the highest graphical settings possible, the i3 + 1060 is a better gaming rig..... However you could likely save a bunch of money by getting a pentium G4560 instead of that I3, as they're extremely close spec wise but the pentium is significantly cheaper MSRP

All that being said, in this price range you should really be considering Ryzen 5 or waiting for an R3. Maybe even buying a used PC.

Yeah they are pre-built. I can't build my own cuz.. I don't know how and I am in the younger side.

Pc's are pre-built, but they are cheap and they both have the same price, that's why I was asking what I shoukd get. Sorry for not saying it in the description of the topic.

Playing games of course. Rust, League of Legends, Unturned, GTA V, Doom, etc.

Then get the one with the 1060. it will give you higher framerates with higher graphical settings in more games more often when compared against the i5 + 1050

i3's are great... for office purposes.

 

if you want the gaming, you want 4 cores or better

that said, if you want the gaming, you want 8 gigs of ram as well, and ram REALLY isnt that big of a cost.
