It depends on what you want.

Honor 8 Pro is a bigger device, with higher resolution screen but its IPS

With bigger device you got more battery (4000mAh as opposed to 3300mAh)

OP5 has no microsd slot, so if the one you eyeing comes with only 64GB internal, you'll be stuck with that.

Also note the different placement of the fingerprint sensor.

In terms of software Oneplus is clearly better, cleaner, you will official Android O and is easier to root/install custom rom.

Awareness is key. Never enough, even in the face of futility. Speak the truth as if you may never get to say it again. This world is full of ugly. Change it they say. The only way is to reveal the ugly. To change the truth you must first acknowledge it. Never pretend it isn't there. Never bend the knee.

Idc about resolution..but I've been looking to switch to AMOLED for a while now..and my current phone has 2500mAh..so anything's an upgrade..64 is quite enough...but what bothers me is the amount of flaws with the Oneplus 5 that seem to increase daily.

Oneplus 5 is gorgeous. It's really not much more for 128 GB model so you really don't have to be stuck with 64. (which a lot as well). Camera is great, not as good as they advertised but it is really great.  Dash charging is awesome and battery life is fine as well. Again not great but perfectly fine.
