What would happen if a hdd with win 10 was put in a ps4

I was wondering what would happen if I put an HDD with Win 10 installed into a PS4

It'd probably throw an error or ask if you want to reformat the drive.

If it doesn't throw up an error about the hard drive's formatting or ask for it to be formatted, it probably wouldn't recognize it.

Well for one thing, I doubt the PS4 supports NTFS so it'll just say you'll need to format the disk in order to access it.

Well it won't boot to W10 if that's what you're wondering..

It wouldn't recognize the drive at all because in order to install Windows 10 on the drive it would have to be formatted in NTFS format which is a proprietary format developed by Microsoft, who has sole rights and ownership. In order for the PS4 to recognize the drive it would have to be in either FAT32 or exFAT format.
