I love the red and black theme you got going there, MSI is an awesome brand.

PS. if you do more than just game on that rig and like multitasking, I'd think of going past 8 gig, I myself use 16 gig simply because I always have a lot of stuff open and therefore have a load of ram usage at idle.

My speakers are THX theater quality. I get SUPER great quality out of them. This is my only fourm of 1080p.

I don't think you need to go more then 8GB but if you want to future proof yourself and have the funds then go ahead. I just wouldn't recommend anything beyond 8GB

I plan on lighting this sucker up with the NZXT HUE. Make it glow Tremedously red (one of my colors my mom doesn't like to look at.)

1080p on a 47" screen is like 1280x768 on a 24"

like I said, on idle I'm already quite high (6 gig usage and up) because I multitask a load, if you don't then yes I do not see a problem with 8 gig, however then it's probably just for gaming. I sometimes open more than one instance of certain games as well.

post some screenies once your NZXT HUE is up.

Well that's not that hard to achieve tbh. Getting a decent sounding soundsystem is expensive as hell. I myself settled with using a good pair of open headphones. That way I get a good sound + don't bother my neighbors when I crank up the volume :)

It can be expensive but you just gotta stop listening to what other people say about how something sounds and try it yourself. I wish I had more room.on my desk because Id be getting some Swan speakers. they're pretty good bookshelves considering theyre powered and around $500.

Linus' video said there was no cooling difference in push pull so I'd save money by not doing that but I love the Kraken. I wish I got that instead of an H100. Cable management is fine, as long as the cables in the front aren't crazy you're fine and that's coming from a cable management OCD person ( I'm serious check out my log) :D

I'm also OCD about cable management. I try my best to manage it as best as I can. I'll just probably replace my case fans with some PWM fans

I'm surprised you went with an AIO when the system is in the same room as the speakers. I would have thought a quieter, air cooled solution would have been optimal.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

The fans dont get that loud. I don't usually get that high of a work load on my system.

Actually there is no problems with this case at all. I love this case. It's a liquid cooling dream if that's you fancy. So many fan/rad support.

you should not go with 5.1 but with stereo or quadrophonic sound.

I got myself an amplifier for 350 and two speakers à 200€.

Once you have this kind of speakers you don't think only a second of going back. no thoughts about subwoofers because you have 4 of them built-in.

a soundcard does not bring you much of an advantage in soundquality, only with headphones.

my setup is:

Harman Kardon hk980

2x Magnat vector 205

the price on the speakers fell dramatically but that does not change their quality.

I think i have 48 months guarantee on the speakers and already made use of it.

but i think your setup is really nice.

                                                                                      wow... pretty empty here...

Nice little set up dude. I agree with stay away from 5.1 and go for stereo. A good starting point maybe a set of active monitors, I've got a set of Bheringer MS20's on my main rig and they are awesome little speakers .

MSI Z87 XPower, I5 4670k, 4x4gb Avexir MPower, 2 x HD7950, XFX Pro750w, Intel 335 180gb boot, 250gb Samy pro games, 60gb OCZ Vertex music, Monsta 420,ST30 360, 140mm / 120mm Akasa Vipers in push pull, D5 Vario, Koolance top, Bitspower ZMulti250, Fesser Fittings all round, Mayhems sunset Yellow, 32" LG monitor, 23" Asus monitor, Microlab Solo 7c's, Bheringer MS20's, R.A.T7, Steelseries Merc Stealth

Even to upgrade from Logitech Z623 to those? I'm not sure about that. But thanks for compliment.

Yes mate without a doubt, the MS20's are studio quality ( 24bit, 192khz ) I've got a set of KRK Rokit 5 g3's, connected to my sound system, and for speakers that cost double that of the MS20's there is nothing in the Quality, if anything the MS20's have got the edge purely cos the bass is better.
