How much is the build up to so far, and how much is left to spend on the psu?

You'll be fine with a 550 watt power supply, even when overclocking. From those options the super flower would be best.

I recommend EVGA, Corsair and Seasonic, just pick something from tier 1 or 2 from here:

CPU: Intel Core I7 7700K & Corsair H100i v2
Mobo: Asus Maximus IX Hero
RAM: 32 Gigs @ 3000Mhz, Corsair Dominator Platinum
GPU: Asus Strix 1080 A8G
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 500gb
PSU: Corsair HX750i
Case: Fractal Design Define S

Evga uses them as the OEM in most of their actually good units (g2, G3, b2, b3). They're just as good as Seasonic.

Seasonic and Superflower are the two main godly OEMs.  Most companies like Corsair, EVGA, and XFX just buy Seasonic and Superflowers than they paint them.

I that a lot are from other companies now and I haven't heard of Seasonic being an OEM much anymore, except in some XFX units.

I see HEC, Superflower, and Seasonic as an OEM a lot.  But, as long as it's one of those two then I'll buy it.  I was iffy about getting the Azza Titan until JonnyGuru, I think it was, tore it open, and it was a Superflower just painted.  I think more are using Superflower, or if they're cheap then they go with ones like HEC.

I know corsair is using CWT in some of theirs as well, I can't recall any others off the top of my head though.

I don't recall Seasonic that much recently though. Maybe I just haven't been looking at a lot of Seasonic based PSUs :P

Fortron = FSP, IIRC.

The Raider platform is really old from what I remember by this point.

The Super Flower Golden Green 650 is effectively what you'd get in an EVGA GB2 with slightly different components in certain places, so I'd get that.

Golden green is actually what you get in the b2 (and maybe b3, not sure on that), with the g2 and G3 it's the leadex.

Fortron Source Power, or FSP.

Super Flower is best. Raider is older than Golden Green, but GG has the solid construction and DC-DC design of a modern PSU on its side here.

idk

Corsair has never used Superflower as an OEM, same with XFX.

Most of Corsair's line up is CWT (Channel Well Technologies), Most of EVGA's lineup is HEC.

Between the two units you have mentioned, the Super Flower Golden Green unit is the better one as others have stated.

The Seasonic G and X are based on different internal design, in which there's a clear difference in the internal layout.

I have the super flower one in my current system and have been using it for 5 years now. I had a corsair one prior but it popped and I was skeptical about buying another from them (It was probably a rare case since it was only 3 years old and I seen reports of people using them for 6 years) but the super flower has severed me well, plus I run a power hungry card, HD7990, and it has no issues. So, I'd recommend the super flower one.

Also, I am running a FX 8320 OC'ed at 4.7Ghz and my HD7990 is OC'ed and it handles it with no problems so you should be fine for overclocking.

For the first part I just never saw their name fully.

Corsair I wasn't too aware of their OEM, but for XFX I just meant Seasonic.   EVGA uses a mix of the three, iirc.  Some others are FSP and Andyson ones.  Aren't most of the bad ones from EVGA the HEC ones?

Yes, EVGA uses Andyson, FSP, HEC Seasonic and Superflower and a lot of the HEC platforms that EVGA uses are bad to average. That said, the G2 is being made by HEC, so they don't just make the garbage.

3 minutes ago, valdyrgramr said:

Also, Corsair has used Seasonic on a few models.  Those are the HX650 and 2 of the AXs.  They have never used Superflower.

True, true. But they are not selling those models anymore. (VX450, CX400, some of the HX line, some of the TX line, some of the AX line).
