I mean, as long as you can verify it is working, I don't see a problem. As it is a AM4 board, it still has warranty so I think you can do it.

looks fine to me, if it works no reason not to take it.

Looks clean, and has a digital thingy near the PCIe slot in the bottom

What has the "digital thingy" to do with the fact it's a used motherboard? It's a AM4 board - it's almost brand new, and almost every medium to high end mobo has one of those nowadays

@joshbot21 if the board still has warranty, there's no reason why you shouldn't take it. In my 5 years (i know it's not much, but it's something) of working as a PC repair guy, i've only seen 2 dead motherboards, and 1 of them was broken by the user. Do however try the motherboard before buying it, if possible.

@joshbot21

It is just my great thoughts on it, i never seen that facility in LGA 775 boards

I believe most of the online shops selling used parts give the costumers some kind of a guarantee. If i were you, i'd pay with PayPal, because their warranty is epic. If you are for any reason not satisfied with the purchase or if you believe you were scammer, they will take action towards the seller and try to figure out a solution. They were always a great help when i received faulty or fake parts from ebay (i often order spare parts for mobile phones).

If none of that is possible, just make sure he adds the warranty list :)
