You mean capacitors right? Just short them with a resistor, or even better use a low-z multimeter

Quote or tag if you want me to answer! PM me if you are in a real hurry!

Transformers hold no charge or energy they are just large coils of wire and a ferrite core, the only things that hold charge are capacitors.

Yes, and theoretically it is completely safe even in while in operation as it relies on induction from the current flow as long as you don't obviously touch any exposed conductors.

If you're sure it's a transformer, yes.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

Hypnotoad's RAM is dying, his motherboard is acting like the 6-year-old AsRock it is, a couple of SATA ports have just stopped working, but the RGB remains. The RGB always remains. Hypnotoad lives. All glory to the Hypnotoad.

I strongly buy a multi-meter to check for voltage, their might be a capacitor hooked up to that transformer.

Transformers have some capacitance but it's really small, not enough to hurt you or shock you.

Disconnect amp from mains socket before working on it.

Discharge big capacitors by shorting their leads with a resistor (for example a 1kohm 0.5w..1w one)
