I'm using a laptop right now with an AMD A8, now tell me I don't need this....lol

I know bitcoin miners are annoying, anywhere you can recommend would be great? at least a shorter than 2 weeks waiting time!

Get a used 980 Ti? They perform the same a a 1070, especially when OC'd. And they have a higher TDP and power consumption, so miners haven't bought them all up.

Where do you live? I got mine off Craigslist for $300 USD, new they're $600+, and refurb ones are still over $500.

it's not like you have a choice...also be prepared to over spend for your 1070...in all honesty i think if you can, just get a GTX 1080 they are in stock pretty much everywhere and there are good deals on them or at least they are still selling for what they should go for...because of Gddr5X its slightly slower in mining than a 1070 so miners don,t want them...but in games it's a good 25% faster...it's worth it...

Yeah. Some 1070s have gone up to 1080/1080 Ti prices.

Looks pretty good, though 120mm AIOs aren't any better than a good air cooler, and Ryzen might offer a better value, depending on what you're doing.

Ryzen is way better for video production, and gets you higher lows when gaming.

you don't need 64GB of DDR4 Ram then, 16GB will be plenty...also you should look at an R5 1600 with a B350 motherboard instead, cheaper more cores more threads etc.. will last your longer, put that money saved toward a GTX 1080.
