Loving the color scheme. It would go really well with a throwback Haswell build or something, lol

Interesting Tid bit, the drivers for Frontier Edition are wholly unique to it. It really isn't Radeon Pro, or Crimson ReLive.

In the Attack on GTX Titan video. It's very brief - if you blink, you'll miss it. It's a flash of pink and green, and if you don't look too closely the windows look like a heatsink and side view of a fan.

Just imagine if they could use that to take 2 GPU dies and make it work as one just like Threadripper and Epyc did for CPU's. they could develop a high yields, high efficiency small die part and stack them to compete in the high end.

I personally excited for the zen+vega APU's for desktops.

Imagine, if you can put in 2 cards and the system detects it as just one.

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Well there goes titan's being used for workstation and maybe a price drop for quadro's

Titans currently aren't worth using in workstations anyways. The Xp doesn't have any advantage over the 1080 ti besides memory bandwidth, CUDA cores, memory size, and some small things like rop and TMU count (basically no extra features is what I'm saying).

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Actually you'd be surprised, because they aren't plastered in "GAMING" a lot of businesses get them as cheap workstation cards (To a business $1200 is cheap next to a $6000 quadro). For example we have some here.

Seems the first Radeon Pro Vega card the WX9100 has been spotted. As mentioned before The Frontier Edition is NOT Radeon Pro card, and doesn't have certified professional drivers. If you need that, here's the type of card to get.

Most likely part of the range also going into the iMac Pro.

https://videocardz.com/70526/amd-preparing-radeon-pro-wx-9100-with-vega-gpu

The new device will join Radeon Pro WX x100 series. The fastest graphics card in these series is currently WX 7100 based on Polaris 10. According to the data from CompuBench, WX 9100 would have 1792 cores more than WX 7100. The listing reveals that WX 9100 has 64 Compute Units (4096 Cores) and a clock of 1200 MHz. Listed global memory size is definitely pointing towards 16GB configuration, so this would be sixth Vega with such memory size.

Of course, this raises a question what makes is different from Radeon Vega Frontier. Frontier seems to be a perfect card for game developers, as it features both Professional and Gaming modes. If I understand this right, the Radeon Pro WX 9100 will be strictly a professional card (for design and manufacturing).

Considering that the mining craze is still going strong, if it stays at 999$, it's a great value; when compared to the RX 480, I pay only 50% more and get 2x the gaming performance (assuming it's the same as a GTX 1080Ti), and more importantly, I may be able to get all the money back if I Crossfire two of those!!!!

He's apparently thermal or power throttling as well. Will have to see what he can manage.
Since he can't get the clocks to stay at 1600Mhz either.

He also has the GPU in an MITX case from the looks of it, very cramped.
