What monitor for a gtx 1070

Hello!

 

I just built a new pc with a gtx 1070. I don t know what monitor to get to pair with it. I would like a 1440p monitor and my budget is AROUND 380-400 euros. I play alll kinds of games like Witcher 3, gta v, bf 1, cs go(rarely)... I hope you can give me some advice.

IPS is the only advantage it has over what @Javs recommend, so this or that depends on how much IPS moves you / TN scares you

I mean I like IPS but I don t know, the refresh rate isn t as good and response time isn t but I feel if I get a 1080p monitor I will be wasting all that horsepower my gtx 1070 has.

What about LG 27MP59G?

If you're fine with 24" the Dell s2417dg is a great 1440p144hz monitor. If you want 27" the Dell also has the U2715H

get a 27 1ms 1440p monitor that will go to 70Hz for that mix of games and enjoy that 1070!

You can run it in false 2k, I've been told the thing this does is render the video at a higher res, then compres it to the native res and it looks better than just the normal 1080 you would have
