DIR-524 lost its intranet speeds, donno how,buy new My Net N900?

Hey Akshay here from Pune.
I observed that my wireless routers speed has gone down and now it tops 250KB over watching movies from another pc in network, or even when i use my phone to transfer a file, in the same room.

coz my sister is coming to visit for Holidays, this ones not avaialble in India at same prices.

Check for firmware updates

I have a DIR-615. D link has shitty firmware

Just remember to us e a wired connection to update your firmware and not wireless.

 

Also try connecting your PC directly into the modem the insure that it is infact a issue with your router and not your ISP.

firmware version is 1.10
No upgrades available online, the speed lags on intranet, while file sharing, via router, no internet issues, those exist only to a distant living room, my house is currently 1300 sqft so...
I was thinking if the bandwidth and the new router is introduced, with hd prioritization the MY NET N900 would be helpfun, but it will cost me atleast 2700rs, thats nearly 45$

 

Internet speed is just 512kbps so i guess it not affected right now, but once i upgrade to 2.5mbps think it will
