RX 470 stopped working

720_

I recently bought a ASUS ROG RX470 Strix. It worked fine for around 3 weeks then my screen went black and it made a loud buzzing noise and now it wont work. When i power up the system the light comes on and the fans spin but there is no signal to the monitor. I tried it in a different PC and it still wont work. Whats wrong?

Yeah, I'd contact Asus about this and a possible RMA.

I do wonder though, if the card is beyong repair, what could they possibly give back to you..? Refurb Polaris? I doubt they have those. Maybe a 390(X)?

rx 470 or 570 are the same and the 570 is still being produced. 390x wont make sense because it has a much higher tdp that many wont be able to supply

Well you can't get any Polaris cards, whether it's 500 or 400 series. All sold out and I doubt Asus is holding back sales of GPU's just in case people have to RMA. And I know about the higher wattage PSU needed on the 390X, but it's about the only other they probably could offer.
