Need help finding a display

So I'm looking for a display to mount on my wall. Not going to be my main monitor, more of a secondary monitor for video watching and console gaming.

I would prefer a 16:9 aspect ratio, or anything that can letterbox to a 16:9.

 

Looking for a display around 30in. 

Budget is around $300.(less if possible)

 

The only monitor I found with great reviews around the 30in size is a LG one for $200

"Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas

 

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).

Im looking at it, does it have letterboxing/changing to 16:9 aspect ratio built into the monitor?

Wait, is it 27MP59G?

oh, when i clicked it it was a 29in ultrawide. the 27MP59G-P doesn't have vesa

Sorry now it is fixed, but i think the 29" monitor before is still good.

 

wait so we can not mount it onto wall? I think that does not mean anything to me but where are you gonna put that monitor then?

I'm looking to mount my monitor above on the wall, so a vesa mount is needed

I think the 29UM69G monitor before can be letterboxed to your aspect ratio like 29UM68
