noctua fan questions

Can I run Noctua fans below their rated speeds? So if i got a NF-A14 1500rpm fan, could i let it run on 800 rpm through the motherboard PWM fan curve?

Yeah you can, as long as the minimum isn't 1500 you're good.

I run my 1500RPM fan on my BeQuiet cooler at around 500 most of the time

Mine go down to around 300 to 350 rpm. I can't tell you off the top of my head my noctua fan exact model but I have one brown pwm 120 and some redux 140mm. For some reason on my board the cpu fan header give me lower rpm options than the others

Should be able to run it at whatever options you have in the BIOS IIRC, mine lets me run at 30% no problem.

The NF-A14 you're using has a rated minimum rpm of 300. You can see more specs on their site: http://noctua.at/en/nf-a14-pwm/specification
