Dell Monitor Good for Gaming?

Hello,

 

I am trying to find a 1440p G-Sync monitor on a budget (max. 400$). I came across the  Dell - S2417DG. The only problem is that its tn instead of ips. Is this a problem for gaming? If you know a monitor that is 1440p G-Sync (hopefully ips) less than or 400$ please post it.

yeah dell is known for thier quality professional display. you could easily find a dell monitor with ips display on newegg.

Well.. There is no newegg in the uk :)

if you know the model or part number from say browsing other sites you can probably order it directly from dell.co.uk or so :)
