Recover CMD History?

I had Microsoft fix an issue for me and I want to see what commands they used. Can I see the history after CMD was closed out of?

pressing the up key normally shows you previous commands.

If the instance of Command Prompt has already been closed, then there is no way to recover the history of what was entered.
