Need Help to Upgrade Wireless Card

I need help because I have never honestly had to search for a wireless card and this is new to me.  I have the Asus X556UAK Signature Edition.The sole purpose of this PC is for school work, I just have one major problem; stupid slow wifi.

 

I have taken apart the computer and see a tiny wireless card with only one black antenna going to it.  

 

I have done speed tests this thing does 2 down and 60 up MBPS or Mbps whichever it is.  I can install a card I just need to find which card will go in here. I have looked but I just don't know where to look for the correct answers.

It may make more sense to get a USB wifi dongle.

i5 6600k and GTX 1070 but I play 1600-900. 1440p BABY!

Still, don't put too much faith in my buying decisions. xD

All laptops I have uses 2 wires connected to the WiFi card. Not sure it that's universal, but 1 of them could be off/missing in your laptop.

I do have a dongle. But a dongle is not always beneficial in certain situations.  Dongle is for when I plan on not moving my laptop.

No point of getting a better card when your laptop only has 1 antenna.

BTW the card in it, is already decent to begin with. It's 802.11n

does it say on the card itself?

802.11n minimum can reach 150Mb/s

Try updating your wifi drivers or plugging the antenna into the other terminal on the card.

But that single antenna could be the cause.

as far as i know not all 802.11n are the same, my lenovo  and SP4 use 802.11ac but i got significantly better speed on the lenovo.
