Max. GPU for Intel Pentium G4560

I currently have an RX 460 2gb but i'm planning on selling it to buy a new GPU. Any GPU that wont bottleneck the G4560. I'm playing any games (AAA's or Esports).

I`d recommend 1060 6 gb idk if its really better then an rx equivalent but you will be able to have a chance at getting it within multiple months and its definitely a good card anyway.

Well, the CPU will bottleneck a 6GB 1060 in some newer AAA games, so that's not entirely true

 

I'd probably say something around RX 470 level of performance...

tbh if OP is ok with used, a used 980/970/390x/390 is the way to go

Gamers Nexus did a review and found the best match to be a 1060 6GB. A slight bottleneck in a minority of games is better than under-performing in all games.

Both are equally trustworthy so I don't know where the "trust" fits in to this discussion. 

 

Again, better to have a bit more headroom with the majority of the games versus just the AAA games that will be much more difficult to run graphically in the coming future.

On topic: That's why I watch Hardware Unboxed and Gamers Nexus. They test their CPU's with a variety of GPU's rather than a single card.

dont worry about bottleneck buy the best GPU you can afford for now, and upgrade your CPU later you're lucky to be on the lowest end chip of the latest intel socket...so you have a nice choices for CPU upgrades later.

Yes HU has a strong point that when your build is too unbalanced it does seem worse than it would actually be if balanced up correctly using same hardware.

 

The 1060 6gb will be limited here and there as seen but still provides significant performance to be an option, and personally I do think that's the highest Pascal you go with the g4560, a h110m board with 8gb of ram and there you go; a pretty solid 1080p gaming rig for quite cheap.

which 6th gen i5 shoudl i choose? my mobo only supports 6th gen procs only, and also, is gtx 1050ti good for 1080p gaming? in any games?

right now 25/3/2021 im playing anthem at low with a gtx 1650 and the g4560 my gpu is sitting at 50/60% and the cpu is always at 100
