Is light bleed fixable

I was wondering if it's worth sending my Asus mx25aq in for repair. In the last year it has developed significant light bleed and I can't play dark movies or games without getting annoyed. Just want to know if they can fix it or I should just buy something else

I have a similar monitor, and it bleeds too,  I don't use dark wallpapers, and just try to ignore it and it works for me, but yours is worse than mine
