Bought New GTX 1060, will leaving GTX 660 hurt or help ?

I purchased a new GTX 1060 FE from nvidia and I love it. But I left my EVGA GTX 660 in my pc to keep it out of the way and safe. Now I toyed with the idea of selling Hashpower using NiceHash with the older GPU to make money. But is taxing my system bad so I quit bitcoin mining all together. Is there any other use for that card or should I sell it.

Gigabyte G1 z97x gaming 3 rev 1.0 (bios f7)

Intel 4460

Corsair Vengeance 4x16gb 1866 mhz(overclocked for motherboard that handles 1600)

Evo212 Cooler

H440 (all fan slots filled,4 exhaust and 3 intake not including psu)

Samsung 750 256 SSD

aforementioned GPU's with single power supply cable for both.

Sell the 660 and get yourself a 4690K or 4790K with the funds.

I have 8 tb's of mechanical storage. And I cannot afford to upgrade to a much better CPU,  both financially or maritally. LOL , yeah i'm not kidding on the latter either.

Yeah, no chance mining is gonna net anything with a 660, a McDonald's worker working part time would earn way more.
