No display out

Billy_Mays

Finished my PC almost a whole 1.5 hours ago I had troubles turning it on turns out I didn't have the power cable plugged in all the way and now I'm not getting any display outs at all even on Igpu and it's been a steady half hour and still nothing. Am I doing anything wrong here at?

1- Make sure everything is connected properly again.

2- If you want to use a IGPU you must take out your video card

3- Take the CMOS battery out for 5-10 mins, which will reset the bios.

Try those and of none of them work I will give you some more assistance

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

It might be the bios not being up to date and that might be causing it not to work

No,the bios has nothing to do with it,sorry. The issue is more likely that the board is dead, try reseting the CMOS and if not then chances are the board is dead.

That's really annoying because I was really hyped to get off of my laptop because of low frame rates on most games but I didn't bend any pins or mess up the board at all

Better to wait and have a PC that works lol. Some boards are just defective when they come out of the factory, it may have been damaged in shipping. Should take it back asap as some online companies, cough cough amazon sneeze, get funny about refunds and replacements. It may also be the CPU thats dead,. If the fans are running at max then chances are its the CPU, or its the wrong way around. All I can recommend it taking it to a computer shop and asking politely to borrow some parts to help troubleshoot the CPU or Motherboard. I would also try connecting a speaker to the motherboard to see if its has any beep code. Other then that I don't know what to tell you. Its unfortunate but these things do happen.

I could try it with a different CPU when I get home and I only have a speaker attached to a OEM mobo but I have asked a local shop about it but no response back yet (apparently he's the best in my town)

And the fans sound a tiny bit loud I'm not too sure if its normal and I don't have a DB reader

if they take a while to spin down then they are probably running at flu speed which would suggest a CPU fault.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

I would just wait until you hear from the computer shop about borrowing some parts. If they don't get back to you then I would return the mobo and then the cpu if the new board dosent work. You mentions that it did not have a closing thing on it which would make me suspicious that that they sent you a board that had been returned before, and the holes on the anti static would confirm that for me. I don't know what else you could do, other then look for a post code read out or a speaker making beeping noises. Have you tired a different display? Have you tried a different cable?

this is sign that mobo was used before

at least cia and nsa repack things correctly

plus they make sure its working before they reship to you

but you can not say same for other organizations that just go "well they'll think it was damaged during shipping" when they screwup there rootkitting surveillence app install
