Is an All in One gpu water cooler worth it?

I'm in the planning stages of a new build, and I'm not sure which 1080ti to buy. I'm looking at the MSI seahawk x, which is water cooled, and an evga open air cooled model. The price is slightly higher for the water-cooled card (obviously) around $50 US more. My question is, is it worth it?

IMO the water cooling is worthwhile as the temps can go down 30-40c

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

Aio coolers are great for gpu's, I definitely recommend one as a user myself.

Did you get yours after market, or did it come with the gpu?
