Elder Scrolls is the series name, Skyrim is the specific game.  Skyrim is the fifth game in the Elder Scrolls series.  They are, in order:

The Elder Scrolls: Arena

The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

While I'm not a fan of Wikipedia in general, this does a decent job of displaying the outline of the games.

Skyrim is the short term name for Elder Scrolls, right?

It's the most recent Elder Scrolls game. It's jaw dropping even on the XBox 360, which is where I first played it. I can't vouch for the framerate you can get on HD 530, but I'm sure you can get decent performance by dropping to 720p. Skyrim is one of the seven games I have ever played (since the early 1980s) that I'd rate perfect: eg., a 10/10. Its predecessor Oblivion is also great, though the graphics look pretty dated since it released in 2006. But the music is unreal and it has some really memorable areas and missions. A great game is always a great game, and Oblivion is one. Look at the Half Life and Portal Games too. If you get Half Life 1, get Half Life 1 Source, which is a recreation of Half Life 1 in the Half Life 2 engine (side note: Half Life 1 is one of the other seven perfect games I have ever played, and Half Life 2 is almost as good).

Know any good racing games, friend?

For racing sims, Assetto Corsa is the hot thing right now.

I don't read the reply to my posts anymore so don't bother.

I don't actually own Assetto Corsa (yet) but people say it has the most realistic physics sims (even compared to iRacing) and that the track are all laser scanned. Project Cars isn't known for its physics, it does have a good tyre grip and degradation simulation but that's it. From reviews I watched it is geared towards hardcore PC audience so you get a lot of options (evident by the quite un-intuitive interface) so you can be overwhelmed. I would've bought Assetto Corsa over Project Cars based on the reviews but PCars was cheaper at the time (I got it for only $8 Australian dollars, no DLCs though).

I don't read the reply to my posts anymore so don't bother.
