iPhone 8 takes chipsets

 

Stumbled across this while on Reddit, thought I'd post here.

 

I personally think they are probably going to buy more chips due to the iPhone being popular.

I doubt its Apple's fault, there's been a DRAM shortage for quite a few months now. Thats the reason both DDR3 and DDR4 have gone up in price.

Ehh, misleading title. 

 

They're making the assumption it's for the iPhone 8, and if no one in the industry saw the demand for the iPhone 8 coming then I don't know how they're making it through life.

The very first line in the article states there is a shortage. No one has forgotten.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.

And this will probably only exacerbate the shortage, at least I'm not planning on upgrading anytime soon (not until Volta at least). 

Please quote our replys so we get a notification and can reply easily. Never cheap out on a PSU, or I will come to watch the fireworks.
