Upgrading old to New! For Streaming!

Hey everyone!

I have decided to try out streaming, and because of that I need new hardware. I have slowly been learning about computers over 3 years (when I last built my bad idea of a computer), my current one is not the best but consists of;

  • Intel i5-4590 3.30ghz
  • Intel Stock CPU fan
  • 16 gigs of ddr3 ram (1333mhz, 8gbs x 2)
  • And finally the AMD 390X HSI series GPU

The machine is okay at playing games but I assume it's going to tank when I start streaming; I need an upgrade and have the following questions about it.

  • I obviously need new RAM, what speed should I be looking for? Also should I try and go for 8gigs x 4 to get 32 gigs of RAM? Or is that overkill... looking at prices that's about 400CAD worth of ram, pretty expensive. Speedwise is motherboard dependant but I'm not sure if there's any reason to even go higher than 2133mhz for what I am doing, but I'm clueless with how intensive streaming is.

  • CPU wise I've done my research and decided on the Ryzen 7 - 1700x, I do not think the 1800x is needed as theyre all just changes in clockspeeds, is there any reason for me to go higher than 1700x?

  • Ryzen CPUS come with the stock cpu fan, I always hear people say it's better to buy one that doesn't come with the cpu, should I look into that? What fans are recommended?

  • And lastly; when looking at motherboards what should I be looking for, which ones are best?

I prefer to buy locally, but I'm not against buying online; these are all the motherboards I can buy in my city (there's not alot)

  • B350M GAMING PRO mATX w/ DDR4-2400, 7.1 Audio, M.2, Gigabit LAN, HDMI, USB 3.1 ($114.99 CAD)>Link Here<

  • B350 TOMAHAWK w/ DDR4-2400, 7.1 Audio, M.2, Gigabit LAN, CrossFireX ($154.99 CAD) >Link Here<

  • X370 Gaming Pro Carbon w/ DDR4-3200 (OC), 7.1 Audio, Gigabit LAN, DisplayPort, HDMI, CrossfireX, SLI ($249.99 CAD) >Link Here<

  • X370 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM w/ DDR4-3200 (OC), 7.1 Audio, Gigabit LAN, DisplayPort, HDMI, CrossfireX, SLI ($384.99 CAD) >Link Here<

Thank you to everyone who read my wall of text, I look forward to the replies!

2x8gb of ram is sweet spot still. 32gb too much unless you're a 200 tab chrome user like me, and even at that I use ~24gb with macOS caching everything and a fuck ton of background stuff. make sure it's 3200mhz or better though, ryzen wants that high speed ram!

no reason to go higher than a 1700, 1700x is just overclocked 1700 and 1800x is just overclocked 1700x.

the stock fan for the 1700 is pretty good, it doesn't come with a 1700x or higher though.

X370 is best for overclocking/ram/whatever.

Ryzen 5 3600 stock | 2x16GB C13 3200MHz (AFR) | GTX 760 (Sold the VII)| ASUS Prime X570-P | 6TB WD Gold (128MB Cache, 2017)

Samsung 850 EVO 240 GB

138 is a good number.

Get 16GB RAM and a Ryzen 7 1700 (OC's the same as a 1700X, and includes a good cooler). Get the Gaming Pro, unless you want to SLI in the future, then get an X370 mobo (they're also slightly better for overclocking).

an x370 might be interesting for it's connectivity and maybe a little future proofing. That titanium board tho is way overpriced, gamers nexus did a review on it and the vrm is sub par for a board at that price.
