I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

RX 580's are pretty power hungry. And you're setting 2 in crossfire, so I'd say no less than 700W so you can be on the comfortable side and have some wattage headroom for overclocking or simply better efficiency/ having the fan not turn on during load.

Try to get a quality PSU like the G2/G3 series from EVGA (or GQ if your budget is not as high), Seasonic X-850, Corsair RM 850, etc. You're safe with a minimum of 650W if it's 80 Plus Gold or higher, but I'd recommend a higher wattage PSU even if your system won't consume all that energy because you'll have better efficiency overall, and take advantage of the fan not turning on/ spinning at low RPM all the time.

The Seasonic one I mentioned is one of the best PSU's you can buy and recommend it 10/10. I've own one for a year and it has been amazing.

Yes but it's cutting it a bit close on 550W.

My recommendation is the 620W Seasonic S12II which is on sale for $40 after rebate.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

The Odessa as in Texas? Or the Ukraine? Depending on where you are from, it may affect the availability and pricing of what you can get.

Can you provide a link to store(s) you can buy from, as well as a budget.

While there's a few options I would like to recommend, it seem none of them are in stock. So I'm just going to make a general recommendation.

Corsair RM650x / RM650i

EVGA Supernova 650 G2 / G3

Seasonic units look to be priced poorly, but in case there are better deals on other sites: Seasonic X / Prime Gold 650W

Bitfenix Whisper 650 M
