Is my PSU sufficient?

a single fan uses 12v at about .3A max. usually much less than that.

so it's only about 4W per fan.

 

checking specifically, those fans are 12V 0.2A, so 2.4 Watts per fan. no worries.

I am a first time builder and just bought an EVGA 450 watt 80+ bronze for my system. I added some fans from newegg to the list and the wattage used increased from 269 watts, to 369 watts. I only plan to use 4 out of the 5 fans included in the pack and take out the fan pre installed in the case. I am not sure how correct the estimate is on pcpartpicker, but I do trust their estimations. I hope I do not need to buy a new PSU, but if you reccommend I should, then what would the wattage be?

100W worth of fans is about 10 Delta 15k RPM industrial 240mm fans running at full RPM.

How are you measuring/calculating the wattage with o.o?

those high rpm fans can suck over 50w each at full speed with a 120mm fan.

I'm aware. Was using fans I have as a reference. Those things are able to generate a hurricane at max speed. Not to mention they're louder than a jet engine <__<

They usually take the TDP or VxA=W to determine the number, but someone failed at math when entering those items.
