You'll also need to use Kaby Lake [, a Z270 board, and Windows 10].

Edit: I'm not a big Blu-ray guy, but I'll eventually get an HTPC with these components.

I was thinking of building a htpc out of some nice not in use parts for a htpc, but it there such thing as a blu-ray 4k drive that you could put in your computer for 4k movies?  I was wondering because I have a 4k tv and some 4k movies but no player.  Is there a blu-ray drive that reads 4k somewhere.  Anything appreciated.  Thanks

There are currently no 5.25" 4K Blu Ray drives for PC. They will be coming (unclear when), though you need a Kabylake CPU, 6-8GB RAM, and HDMI2.0.

Personal build >  New-ish AMD main gaming setup

Having Windows 10 would have, and should have, been enough, but I won't be going 4K until there's a more compelling reason over just a CPU.
