Fix DC motor not spinning without help.

Kekem

Hello,

I have a very cheap drone, with a diameter of about 10 centimeters. The rear right propeller stopped spinning after a while because the propeller catched a hair.

The motor does work, but only if you open the throttle and give a little tap to the propeller, but it isn't at full speed.

Any ideas how to repair this?

if you're lucky this can be fixed with some grease on the bearings, but this honestly sounds like partially burned up coils, or junk in the bearings (which is near impossible to get out)

The motor is dead. Brushed motors for multirotors have to be replaced after a while, especially after a high current draw such as having a hair wrapped around the shaft. Your best bet is to get a new motor. Make sure to check for cw/ccw rotation.
