Price of water cooling

I was creating a list of the parts necessary to create a custom water cooling loop for a 7970 and a CPU with a triple rad. The total was AUD$550 (About USD$580) including fans. Is this a decent price for the water cooling components?

You can get a fully functional custom water cooling loop for around AUD$300. However, this figure can go all the way up to $1000. On average, a CPU block costs around $60, a GPU block will be around $50, radiator around $50-$100, tubing and coolant is around $50 and a pump is around $50. $550 should be fine, provided you are not going full out with your setup.

*EDIT* I just added up my loop at it cost me approximately $897 CAD before shipping and customs fees.

I'd say $580 USD is pretty good price.

580 is reasonable.

i spent 380 euro's for a cpu only loop with a 280 rad excl. fans.

I probably have about $700 CAD into my watercooling setup, but that also includes the cost of the 10 after market fans I am using. I didn't want to use stock, and I am doing push/pull.

If you aren't buying tons of aftermarket fans, it sounds around normal, but if your like me, it would cost more. I have 12 F-12 which costed me $275 for them all.

depends a little on what components you have..

and if you are going all out then I would suggest not skimping on the fans, get good silent fans.. :)

$580US is a fair, rounded and decent value.

a 360 and 240 radiators easily tear $225 up, $75 for CPU block, GPU $100

D5 pump $85, pump top/bayres $50, tubing $25, fans $0-$300 (depending

on brand and quantity). these are estimated new retail prices.

alot can be saved on used/2nd hand items.
