Good program to make CPU fan curve

So as summer is here now my overclocked 1600 is running a little hotter than i'd like, all my case fan slots are already full so I think now it's a good idea to set up a better fan curve so that i don't have to run the fan constantly at a set speed. does anyone now of any good and preferably free software to do this? i would do it in my BIOS but it just freezes when i try to do anything

That's part of a bigger problem then, there will come a time when you will have to/want to change things in there. I'd at the very least back up a profile and try, if it goes wrong then at least you can just rest CMOS and load the profile back on.

On another note though, maybe the fans just aren't in optimal positions and that's causing the case to not have good airflow and might not be cooling as much as it could.

Damn, sorry, meant to add that the mobo manufacturer soemtimes has software for changing loads of things, MSI for sure has options for changing fan speeds too.

If your BIOS is freezing (totally not normal), I'd be worried about more than a fan curve...

I don't like to use extra software if not required. Why? Because that's extra crap to run on your system.

i haven't tried resetting CMOS yet as my graphics card overhangs it because MSI put in in a stupid place on the X370 SLI boards so i'd have to take my GPU out which i just haven't got around to doing yet but i will most likely attempt to fix it tomorrow, also my case is and S340 and i have two 120mm fans in the front, one on the back and one on the top both exhausting, my room does get pretty hot and the window isn't that big so it does get quite hot in there especially in summer

Yes, th CMOS battery is covered, but you still have a header you can use jumpers or a screwdriver on. I have X370carbon, and have been fine with that. Didn't feel like taking out dual GPU for a battery.

With that case you're very limited for fans for sure, what sorts of temps are you getting when gaming or full workload?

You have the 1600 right? not the 1600X? and what vcore do you have set for your OC and what's the frequency? if it's too much, you might have to dial it back a little bit for summer usage or think about getting an AIO water cooler even.
