Enermax MaxTytan PSU

Enermax has revealed their MaxTytan series line of power supplies during this years Computex.

The Enermax MaxTytan family will include four models speced for 750 W, 800 W, 1050 W and 1250 W output. All MaxTytan SKUs support the company’s DFR (dust free rotation) technology (requires manual activation on the entry-level models) and fanless operation at below 55% – 60% load. Meanwhile, the two 1 kW models feature Enermax’ Coolergenie device for system fan control

 

All have a 80Plus Titanium rating, fully modular, bundle RGB lighting controller, and the top of the line model even comes with a built in wattage meter only for 1050w and 1250w models. Price goes for aprox. $200 for the 750w, $210 for the 800, 1050w for $300, and $360 for the 1250w.

At $200 I doubt many people will buy

Personally I believe one of the largest selling points of such products will be the 'Dust Free' rotation, as I can see such being incredibly helpful if you so desire to not have to regularly clean of it, in say a prebuilt system. Also a wattage meter is an awesome edition for aesthetics in my opinion :D

TO save someone else googling, dust free rotation means the fan spins backwards to theoretically clear some of the dust off it.

Only the 1050w and 1250w has the built in wattage meter.

That is very true. The deference  though, is that Enermax has been around for a long time, EVGA is still new to the PSU game. Enermax is a well known respected PSU manufacture, EVGA is still building up a good name in the PSU world.

Corsair RMi 750W is about 80 less then, if that's what you're after.

I like it for crypto currency mining so then you can do the math and see how much everything costs

EVGA is definitely not new. EVGA is by far and away the most popular PSU brand in North America and I'd wager most of western Europe. Just go to Amazon and look at the most commonly purchased PSUs. They're all EVGA.
