I personally think that the extra 2GB of VRAM on the GTX 1060 would be a big benefit. I would go for the 1060 6GB.

You will not be able to buy RX 580 right now, no matter where you live in the world.

If you find one, it will be $500 lol.

So I guess the only choice left is Nvidia.

CPU: Ryzen 2 2700@ 4.0Ghz    Mobo: Gigabyte X470 Gaming 7 Wifi    Cooler: EVGA CLC 240    GPU: GTX1080 FTW DT @ 2113Mhz   PSU: EVGA 750W P2

Case: Fractal Design Meshify C   Displays: 34" LG34UC79G, 24" Dell

Never go with the lower vrm options of any card. Also 1060 is a better option right now due to butthole miners.

Eh 1060 is still good and all best performing RX cards are OFS so yeah 1060 it is.

The geek himself.

There is actually a shop in my area which have 5 Rx 580s 4gb still available so yes

Gtx 1060 will perform better in dx11 where as Rx 580 will crush gtx 1060 in Vulkan and DX 12
