NIC Teaming in Windows 10

so i want to do nic teaming with 2 network adapters

i use this command to do it

new-netLBFOTeam -name lanpower -teammembers "Ethernet", "Ethernet 2" -teamingmode LACP

but i got this error

new-netLBFOTeam : The LBFO feature is not currently enabled, or LBFO is not supported on this SKU.
At line:1 char:1
+ new-netLBFOTeam lanpower "Ethernet", "Ethernet 2"
+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    + CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (MSFT_NetLbfoTeam:root/StandardCimv2/MSFT_NetLbfoTeam) [New-NetLbfoTeam],
   CimException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : MI RESULT 1,New-NetLbfoTeam

so i tried this (which is the same with the previous one) but still got the same error

new-netLBFOTeam lanpower "Ethernet", "Ethernet 2"

i googled the error and i came across this. my windows was updated to the latest version so i went to dowload the drivers of the adapters for windows 10 (the adapters are intel(r) 82574L) which are the integrated adapters from the motherboard

Windows 10 does not support teaming, hence the error that states,

You'll need one of the Server SKU's for it

The old build had it work but was patched out.

It really sucks they don't allow it on the Pro sku

Microsoft is a dick

So the PC is used as a workstation for 3d max, Photoshop stuff like that

It will work fine if I install windows server right

it will work, I just don't think it is recommended.

SOME softwares will restrict installation on windows server to force you to pay for a server license

I went here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25016/Intel-Network-Adapter-Driver-for-Windows-10?product=36773 and after I downloaded and install the drivers, then going to control panel and devices, Network adapters and then properties I could create a new team.

worked for me.  Before doing this I checked the speed from my synology to my computer and it was 25 MB/sec after I set this up it was about 115 MB/Sec

115MB/s is the speed of 1Gbps Ethernet.

actually it is 125MB/s thats the full speed of 1Gb/s, Theres the speed reported by software and the speed reported at the NIC, I would use the measurement at the nic as it usually includes overheads. 115MB/s is within 1 Gb/s.

Very likely you enabled some feature that helped your NIC push more.

If you did manage to do teaming using static and not LACP, check your NICs to see if it worked. If it did you will see both being used.
