A 240hz monitors really only benefit really competitive games otherwise 144hz is honestly enough to make a really smooth gameplay. The main competitive games are not very demanding and can hit 300 fps pretty easily if you adjust the settings.

Monitors look nice and seem very good, mouse and keyboard are meh and the switches they used makes the keyboards not as sellable.

at those prices for alienware's 1080 gsync monitors, it makes better sense to get a Dell gsync monitor instead.

 

for $399, you can get the s2416dg - 24" 1440p 165hz gsync

or

for $499 you can get the s2716dg -  27"  1440p 144hz gsync - I have this one, money well spent

I think the higher refresh rate on the Alienware monitors is more for eSports players. While you get a higher resolution on the Dells, you get a significantly higher refresh rate on the Alienware.
