It will definitely be stunning in 4K, but personally I would go for 1440p because it is still very crisp and fast refresh rate is a nice bonus especially for an FPS like Destiny. The PvP stuff will definitely be better in 144Hz, but 4K might be worth it if you will mostly do PvE.

This is subjective but I own both a 25" 1440 and 28" 4K monitor and think the extra gpu horsepower required to push 4k is not worth it.

IMO depends on the screen size. 27" or less go for 1440p and enoy the higher refresh rate. If you prefer a bigger screen, go for the higher resolution.

At white size though?

When playing games it's not really noticeable on a 24 or 27" screen.

what would you use to run that? 1440p 100hz is more than enough unless you are a pro CSGO player.

yeah that makes more sense

for pro CSGO 1080p 144, 165, or even 240Hz would make more sense as visual fidelity isn't very important

i would take 1440p or 4k for the visuals, all the new AAA games looks really good, it would be a shame not to fully enjoy it.

i would say so, unless you are a pro CSGO player, then go for a TN 144hz monitor other than that get a 1440p or 4k monitor.

I would generally take higher resolution and image quality over speed, but with 4K and 1440p144Hz, I would probably recommend the 1440p. 4K gaming just isn't here yet.

If you are not in a huge rush for better display right now, wait until end of this year for 4K 144hz HDR + whatever monitor.

4K60 or 1440P144 are both not worth picking up if you already have a decent monitor.

If you must pickup something right now, I suggest 1440P144. I find fps > resolution much more important for gaming.
