i feel like LMG is that one exception where workstation reliability isnt *that* much of an issue, linus would notice pretty quickly if something was up with the editing workstations.

on that note.. @LinusTech have you ever considered having network-wide system monitoring for all the workflow-critical machines?

Maintenance on large air coolers can be a bit of a pain in the butt if you have some RAM issues or whatever.

They also look nicer this way.

Other than that, yes, an air cooler provides fewer points of failure (ideally one in push-pull for redundancy) if you  want a system to last for a very very long time maintenance-free.

Yeah that would be a great idea. Probably something we'll get around to at some point.

We didn't change the base hardware. Just new graphics cards and pulling out the water cooling stuff.

Awesome rigs! Love the cases, Ivan is hilarious, and there's RGB, so how can it be bad?

What graphic card did they use? Linus didn't mention it. Is it the Titan XP? or they didn't change it?

Why didn't he mention the other hardware in the system other than sponsored stuff? I mean I know it's sponsored but I want to know what drives and GPU they're using
