What drivers to install and in what order?

Hey so i will be building my pc next week (that is weird to say since i've been saving for three years)  And i just want to know what drivers to install and in what order, after i have installed windows. Also instead of going online to get them can i just download it to my laptop and put the .exe (or what ever setup file) on to a usb and install them like that?  Thanks ( The build: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/g4MrBP )

1) Ethernet/WiFi drivers first (unless windows Auto-Detects and installs, in which case you can skip these)

2) Graphics Drivers

3) Everything else as you see fit

You can and should have them downloaded and ready to install ahead of time. Windows will install some default driver for a lot of things but GPU and possibly Ethernet/WiFi drivers should be the latest from the manufacturer. Other mobo drivers are good to have as well, just in-case Windows can't find anything for them.

4: same as above

5: y tho?...

6: this is the only one you really need.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

not all OS's find the proper driver on generic search. these are the selected versions for the motherboard.

sure download generics, but issues can arise making troubleshooting a bear to complete only to find BS drivers were the fault.

some CPU actions are not complete unless the IME is installed. generically, if they need them, they'll self install (nVidia driver as well as the .NET)

as listed above:

  1. chipset
  2. intel management engine
  3. LAN
  4. USB (avermedia driver)
  5. thermal probe
