Worth to buy GPU just for mining?

I'm thinking of buying an AMD RX 470 for mining on Nicehash. Is it worth and safe to get this card for mining? I have a computer capable of holding this card.

I would get an application specific miner. I hear it is getting harder to mine with gpus these days

NO. Everyone buying them for mining is making it impossible the find AMD radeon cards, so all the budget gamers are stuck with GTX 1050 Tis, when the 570 is better.

dont really think it is, might set up one of my computers as a miner with the amazing specs of an 8800GT and I3 2140 though just because :P doubt id ever get anything out of it though

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

As a miner: For Ethereum and Ethereum Classic, yes, it's financially feasible to buy a brand new RX 580 and make a profit off of it.  

 

As a gamer: That being said, it's a dick move.
