Lian Li partnered with Cinsys to begin making all in one liquid coolers.

According to reports from The guru of 3D & BitWit, it was recently founded that Lian Li have partnered with Cinsys to begin manufacturing of an all new, 240mm Radiator All-in-One liquid cooler, called rather peculiarly The "X-R240 Expandable water cooling heat radiating system"

 

Featuring of what appears to be quite a unique pump embedded into the radiator. Which to note, the radiator is purely copper, surrounded on an attractive metal shroud, with a  nickel plated copper block.

 

Otherwise, not much else is known as it stands about any other specifications.

Why are we going back to copper colors? Otherwise I look forward to designs from Lian Li. Cases are always really nice.

I think the X-R240 looks interesting. With the tubes close together both on the rad and block, it might look tidier than other AIOs.

House placement is nice, but that copper, is just bleh. Unless your making a old timey steam punk themed build. Hopefully they allow to cover it up with a shroud or fan, but Lian Li always make good quality stuff. Interesting place of pump, makes the heat sink much smaller.

Well, honestly I would imagine that if you desire for maximum performance you may likely have to sacrifice appearance in some situations.

The copper will be better for cooling (much better) and covered by the fan.

Also, pump doesn't make heatsink smaller, just makes it take up more space.

Im not saying it's not better for cooling, it is, I just want it covered up

Also yes to be more concise, the PLACEMENT of the pump allows for the heatsink to be smaller (Versus having the pump on the heatsink vs the Radiator like this appears to be)

It is rather innovative though, and such shall hopefully allow for better clearance as the block is shortened in height. 

You could just get some LED illuminated fans as well to help subtle the copper from being quite a large visual point.

I won't need to save up much, unless it cost 300€ or more. If it ends up costing 200€ then I would be able to buy it without much saving

Hehe. I really needed to re-read it a couple of times
We are not going back, copper was always there, it was the premium.
Copper has a much better heat transfer rate than Aluminium, and Silver has about a 7% better transfer rate than Copper.
 

Now, if only they went back to Silver... Pure Silver, no need for anti-bacterial agents et al.

 

On the other hand, Carbon is even way better, but more expensive to work with and manufacture for a heatsink or AIO solution.

 

One day... some day, they will make carbon made ones.

I was more referring to the cooler being expensive because copper and Lian Li.
