rumor has it both nVidia and AMD arel preparing dedicated crypto currency mining cards

So I find this funny considering that Hot Hardware has an article breaking down a breakdown of whether it would be more efficient to use an RX580 or GTX1070 to mine for BitCoin or Ethereum.

Don't people know that the true money is in using Malware to highjack someones Raspberry Pi to mine with?

We had two RX 580's left in our inventory from before the rush occurred.  I told my boss we should hike up the price, since we can't replace them right now for any kind of decent price.  He didn't think it was worth bothering with.

Wouldn't you know it, today I sold both of our cards to....you guessed it, a cryptocurrency miner.  I should have upped the price while he was on vacation.

I bought my r9 290 off a miner for real cheap ($230 which was pretty cheap back then for a 290) and it's served me well all this time ?
