Apple iMac Pro - Up to 18core Xeon, 128Gb ECC, AMD VEGA - Discuss.

they dramatically improved the cooling just fyi, it was in the keynote

What they say is improved and what is actually improved upon is to be determined by the consumer.  I don't take anything the tech industry says at face value.  It's the same reason I don't watch or trust liberal or conservative oriented news channels like TYT or InfoWars.

Wrong

The masses are idiots

What has improved has improved, period.

If cooling has increased by 80%, its increased by 80% in some fashion. It also helps to see that the cooling system looks beefier and it can be safely said that it is factually better.

Also way to bring up politics.

"Cooling has increased by 80%......when the fans on both models are running at 1% speed." -- that could just mean there's more passive airflow; it has no bearing on actual cooling performance.

Ever heard of market share stats?

Apple barely has 50% in smartphones in the US (but make like 93% of the profit in the business)

the Mac line has the equivalent of like a few Dell laptops total marketshare

the iPad is the most popular tablet but I don't have stats on it.

Apple is far from a masses company. Thats Android, and they suffer for it.

And I don't have a problem with it, but @Pendragon isn't seeing where it takes place everywhere else, he is just seeing it in Apple.

Not Android Smartphones that get 1, or maybe two updates ever, the Surface line altogether,  or any other device that is intentionally limiting.

This is neither a court, a case, or the world.

No, it is simply a flame thread on a forum largely biased against everything Apple.

But like you say,
